Program Templates vs Curriculums

Understand the main differences between Curriculums and Program Templates.

Long Campaigns will be sunset by Dec 31, 2025. Please use the Program Schedule moving forward. (Short Campaigns will remain available).

The primary distinction between Program Templates and Curriculums lies in their structure and application. Curriculums were designed for Long Campaigns, focusing on quarterly, semi-annual, or yearly training engagements with individual companies. In contrast, Program Templates are specifically designed to manage multiple Company Program Schedules and Mandatory Content in bulk.

Curriculums do not utilize specific month names to categorize their content, resulting in all campaigns beginning at Month #1. This can lead to confusion, as Month #1 may represent different calendar months for each company based on their start date. On the other hand, Program Templates incorporate real month names, simplifying the scheduling process.

Additionally, Program Templates prioritize efficiency. They are crafted to integrate smoothly into a company’s program schedules and onboarding procedures. This functionality enables both MSP & vCISO administrators to develop one or multiple adaptable program templates that can be easily assigned across various companies or groups.

Mandatory Content

Program templates provide a bonus track which is the "Mandatory Content", this addition allows MSP and vCISO admins to assign one or more training assets to all company users before starting the first month of the program. Once the Mandatory Content assets are assigned to the users they are automatically added to the "Mandatory Content" rules of each company, so every new user added to each of the selected companies will receive the same content as others.

In summary, while curriculums emphasize personalized, long campaigns with each company, Program Templates provide a more adaptable and efficient approach for managing programs across diverse companies or groups, ultimately boosting productivity and collaboration.
