Steps to Delete a Custom Training Asset
- Navigate to MSP Portal.
- Go to Training > Assets.
- Locate the Asset to Remove
- Click the "3 Dots" (⋮) icon next to the asset.
Option 1: Delete Permanently
This option removes the training asset and all associated assignments.
Impact:
- The asset will no longer be available for future training.
- All historical assignment data tied to this asset will be permanently deleted.
- Users will no longer see this training in their records.
Option 2: Delete & Keep Stats
This option removes the training asset but retains assignment records and training statistics.
Impact:
- Pending/Overdue assignments will automatically be marked as "Completed."
- The asset will no longer be accessible for new or existing assignments.
- Historical completion data will remain intact for reporting purposes.
🚨 Important Considerations Before Deleting

"Delete Permanently" should be used only when you want to fully erase all traces of the training asset, including assignment history.

"Delete & Keep Stats" is ideal if you want to maintain training records but no longer need the asset available for users.

If admins prefer not to auto-complete pending/overdue assignments, they should reach out to the support team.
